The YMCA Sailing facility is located on the south shore of Lake Hefner, two points west of Stars and Stripes park. Due to it's easy access and consistent winds Lake Hefner was named one of the top ten sailing lakes in the United States. Now beginning our 11th year, the award wining YMCA Sailling program utilizes modern equipment such as Olympic Class Lasers, advanced designed Picos and the classic Pram. New this year is our beautiful soaring white pavilion which is now completed. To enhance the learning experience, the sailing facility utilizes the only sandy beach on Lake Hefner.

Please stop by and visit our facility. Our knowledgeable sailing instructors will be happy to give you a tour of our facility and equipment. Our instructors follow United States Sailing Association guidelines and our lead instructors are USSA Certified Instructor Trainers. They will be happy to get you started on a lifetime of sailing enjoyment!
